One of the most critical steps of the mold production process is heat treatment. Heat treatment is extremely crucial in order to obtain the actual performance of mold steel. Knowing the importance of heat treatment steel, Korkmaz Çelik is a company with concentrated mold steel heat treatment and bringing the first vacuum hardening furnace in Turkey.
Our heat treatment plants with 1800 kg capacity and 16 bar nitrogen and hydrogen cooling capacity guarantee the standards determined by NADCA. The records of the operations performed in our fully computerized furnaces are kept for many years and this information is shared with them in line with customer demands.
In our heat treatment plants, the following operations are carried out under the control of our experienced personnel:
- Hardening and tempering
- Detensioning
- Nitration and Nitro Carburizing
- Oxidation
- Subzero operation
